Stacking the Shelves [6] + Recap

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, where we all get to show off what great books we got recently.

Since I seemed to have bought more books these past two weeks, I decided to avoid the library.  I just get overwhelmed when I have a lot that I still need to read at home.  All the books have links that lead to Goodreads.

Physical Books Bought:

The Elite by Kiera Cass
*Fire by Kristin Cashore
*The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan
*The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan
*I have yet to read this series, but my dad has, and he keeps begging me to get the book*
*Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
*Just One Day by Gayle Forman
All of the books with a * next to them, I got hardback copies of for $5 each.  WHOOT!

eBooks Bought for Nook:

Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins *1.99*
Die for Me by Amy Plum *1.99*
The Alchemyst by Michael Scott
The Only Alien on the Planet by Kristen D. Randle
Frostbite by Richelle Mead

*Special Thanks to the ARCycling Program*

Other Reviews:

Blog-wise, there hasn't been a whole lot happening.  We'll see what comes up in the next couple of weeks!

  1. I have adored Lauren Graham since the day I discovered Gilmore Girls, and can't wait to read her book! I also picked up The Elite this week.

    1. The book sounds like her. Or I should say it sounds like Lorelei.

  2. Oh my god, I LOVED Just One Day. So good. I hope you like it (:

I'm interested in Obsidian as well. I almost bought it, but they didn't have any copies at the store when I went. Alas. I've been meaning to start The Selection for the longest time, but haven't. Oops.

    1. I just realized you HAVE read Just One Day. Sorry, sorry.

    2. LOL that's ok. The second comment totally made my day. And you should start The Selection.

  3. So many good books here. Frostbite is really good. I want to read the Elite myself. The Rick Riordan books I also need to read at some point. Enjoy!!
    Here are my newest additions

    1. I keep hoping Frostbite is going to be awesome. I loved the first book. My fingers are crossed.

  4. I'm currently reading Someday, Someday and am liking it so far. I bought Sweet Evil this week, too. I've heard great things about Just One Day. Happy reading!

  7. Why do you have The Mark of Athena and not The Son of Neptune? =))) Anyway, great haul, and happy reading! :D
